non-profit. She is a former IBM VP, with over 21 years of business experience

and capabilities in her consulting work.

Mary is a technical writer who creates software documentation and online
help and has a growing interest in online education. A new mom who combines
telecommuting with part-time work and incremental coursework towards her
computer programming degree, she welcomes the community of other wired
women. Her baby "grrl", Katie, has already discovered the joys of books
and computer mice/keyboards, but these still pale next to the irrestistible
draw of the four cats -- all feral adoptees.

Mary Greening is the owner and chief creative force behind Site Terrific
Web Solutions in Austin, Texas. She has been working in web development
since 1995. She has a wide range of experience in Internet, Intranet,
and web GUI design and construction with companies such as Bell South,
Samsung, and Austin Regional Clinic. In addition to running her own company
Ms. Greening runs Austin City Links, Austin's original city guide on the
web, since 1994.

Mary is the founder of HCI Training,
an instructional design and development company focused on providing computer-
and web-based training for corporations and government agencies. She
has worked to design and develop training for a number of clients including
Dell Computer Corp., the U.S. Navy, General Motors, and Edison International.
Discovering an interest and natural aptitude for training led her to Texas
A&M University where she earned a Masters degree in Educational Technology.
Her programming skills were honed while pursuing a Bachelor of Science
degree in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from The
University of Texas at Dallas. Ms. Haskett is also a certified skydiving
instructor with over 1500 jumps, and a professional student pilot. She
is the Vice President of the Austin chapter of the Association for Internet
Professionals (AIP) and was the President of the Austin chapter of the
International Interactive Communications Society (IICS) for four years.
She is also active in the American Society for Training and Development
(ASTD) and Tejas Toastmasters.

Michelann is a freelance web designer who has worked with a variety of companies
and clients. She currently works with DataNet and Aidan of Austin, and is
always looking for interesting new companies to combine her talents with.
Michelann is also an accomplished opera singer and spends way too much time
on planes flying to auditions and engagements. When she's not singing, banging
out HTML, or practicing, she likes to swing dance and read as much science
fiction as possible.

and XML/XSLT. She has been working in the Digital Libraries Services Division
for 3.5 years now and really enjoys her job. In total, she has spent the
last 16years of her life at the University of Texas, first as a student
then as an employee in various units of the General Libraries. Minnie has
been very involved in HerDomain of Austin
for several years now and currently serves as President.
